Donut news in Nashville is on a roll this week (sorry, we had to attempt a pun there).

On Monday, Five Daughters Bakery dropped their new ice cream donuts (which we’re still losing our minds over) and now Eater Nashville reports that Philadelphia-based Federal Donuts will be opening up shop in East Nashville.

According to Eater Nashville, James Beard Award winner Michael Solomonov will bring the donut and fried chicken concept to the space behind the former Fat Bottom Brewery location in the Fluffo Mattress building.

Fat Bottom Brewery is getting ready to make the move to The Nations where it will double its size to 32,000 square feet once it calls 800 44th Ave. N. home in the summer of 2016.

Federal Donuts serves up a variety of different donuts, fried chicken and coffee at its five Philadelphia locations.
