We took you inside the Jet Black Alley Cat vibe earlier this summer, and now the boys are back with their fifth single, “Golden.”

The song is so catchy that it’s basically impossible not to enjoy it. (The hook is probably going to be stuck in your head for days while you play it on repeat to learn the words.) Focused on all the shiny, golden aspects of a relationship, the song delves into daydreams, things left unsaid and the fantasies that come with falling in love.

“This is the most pop tune we’ve released since our first single, ‘Poison,’” singer Joe Wilkinson said. “It just feels good.”

JBAC is currently filming the music video for “Golden,” directed by Jason Berg, set in the 1950s at a high school dance.

“‘Golden’ is but our next expression of youth, color and identity,” Wilkinson said. “We hope everyone falls in love with it.”

Kick your week off right with a listen on Spotify while we wait for the visuals.
