PUT NASHVILLE VIBES IN YOUR FEED. FOLLOW NOBLE.
When it comes to surrounding yourself with creativity, there really isn’t a more fitting environment than one with walls covered in colorful street art.
But it’s an added bonus when music, artisans, artists, DJs, fire performers and aerial artists are housed inside those walls.
Welcome to Nashville’s venue of awesomeness: Nashville Night Market.
Headquartered inside an old warehouse under the Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard bridge in north Nashville, the new monthly market kicked off its second showcase Friday at Bridge Below Space, 808 19th Avenue North. Nashville Night Market launched in August and is aimed at “cultivating a creative and interactive nightlife scene” by showcasing local makers and artists.
Visually, the venue is truly a sight to soak in. Murals and street art coat the venue’s exposed brick walls both inside and outside of the building. On Friday, Nashville Night Market featured vendors Earthwhile Collective, Dad Hats, fire performer Zeus Bigalow, Nashville’s badass aerial artists Suspended Gravity Circus, artist Stephen Watkins, Bao Down food truck, DJs, live music and plenty of other goodness.
Case Bloom, along with Jason Bosserman and Jenni McCray, founded the event after seeing a need for a night market in Nashville.
“The three of us are all nightlife enthusiasts,” Bloom said. “Jason and I are DJs by trade and we’re always looking for something cool to do at night. A lot of cities have night markets and we wanted to have a similar experience here, so we decided to go for it.”
Nashville Night Market will continue on the first Friday of every month now through December.
