Inglewood Lounge, An Eclectic Neighborhood Bar, Is Coming To East Nashville

Good vibes are in store for East Nashville with Dan Forberg's Inglewood Lounge.

Inglewood Lounge

Chef Dan Forberg has transformed a former Mrs. Winner’s Chicken & Biscuits restaurant in Inglewood into a vibey, eclectic food-forward lounge.

Set to open in mid-December, Inglewood Lounge will be a new East Nashville neighborhood bar located at 3914 Gallatin Pike. Forberg’s Inglewood Lounge will offer up a “bold and concise” menu as well as creative, affordable cocktails, cheap beers and wines.

NOBLE got a taste of what’s in store for Inglewood Lounge during a menu tasting on Monday night, which included cheese curd poutine with porcini gravy, salsa verde tacos carnitas with pickled red cabbage, curry bread bowl, lamb tagine, and piri piri fried chicken.

Along with the food, we really dug the lounge’s cozy, eclectic vibe (and the floral wallpaper with bunnies and mushrooms scattered across it).

Originally housed at POP Nashville, Forberg will be operating his Actual Food Nashville catering company out of the new space on Gallatin, which he rehabbed himself.

“It’s a marvelous feat which I am proud of immensely. Being a do-it-all, I’ve saved an exorbitant amount of cash, it’s just taken what feels like a life time to finish,” Forberg said in a release. “The space is unique and fun, and I now understand and can maintain every aspect of our building. We’re so excited to open the Inglewood Lounge to the neighborhood.”

Forberg’s critically-acclaimed Actual Brunch will be brought back shortly after the launch of the new lounge. Look for an opening in mid-December.
