Cameron Boyce, an American actor who became best known for his roles in the television film “Descendants” and the series “Jessie”, died on Saturday at the age of 20. That was confirmed to ABC News.
“It is with deep sadness that we have to report that we have lost Cameron this morning,” said a family spokesperson. “He died in his sleep from an attack that resulted from a medical condition for which he was being treated.”
At the age of 9, Boyce appeared for the first time in a film: his debut was the horror film ‘Mirrors’, on the side of Kiefer Sutherland and others. Later he appeared in the comedies ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘Grown Ups 2’, with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.
Boyce, from Los Angeles, played the role of Luke Ross in the “Jessie” series on Disney Channel for four seasons. He was also seen in the TV film ‘Descendants’: there he played the role of Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil.
“Together with his millions of fans, we grieve for his early death,” a Disney Channel spokesperson told ABC News.
