Good news for Harry Potter fans.
The British writer JK Rowling (53) will add four new non-fiction stories to her famous series in June.
They will all be related to the popular wizarding world.
This is a series of e-books with short stories that will be released on the Pottermore website.
The new stories were created with the aim of “exploring the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories” and will focus on the school subjects in Hogwarts.
The first two books “A Journey Through Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts” and “A Journey Through Potions and Herbology” will be available on June 27.
The other two stories will receive the titles “A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy” and “A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures” and are expected to follow soon.
The works also provide space for sketches, notes and manuscripts of the author.
It is not the first time that Rowling is treating her fans with new stories and insights into the Harry Potter universe.
In 2014 she released no less than twelve stories as a Christmas present in December.
In these she constantly focused on a character from her books, with the intention of getting to know this character better.
One was entirely devoted to Draco Malfoy, one of Harry’s greatest enemies and a popular character among fans.
On Halloween five years ago, she also posted a short story on the Pottermore website.
That story was about the evil witch and former Hogwarts professor Dorothea Omber, which fans got to know in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”
