The Pokémon Company has announced two new Pokémon projects for smartphones: Pokémon Masters and Pokémon Sleep.
The company did this during the Pokémon Press Conference last night. Pokémon Masters should come to iOS and Android sometime later this year and is being developed by DeNa. The game mainly revolves around the pokémon battling each other. Players not only fight each other, but also all Gym Leaders and trainers from previous Pokémon games. More details about Pokémon Masters will be announced next month.
Pokémon Sleep is a new app that will be released in 2020 and will track and analyze people’s sleeping habits. How this is going to work is not yet clear, but The Pokémon Company says it is intended that people with the app have a good reason to wake up on time the next morning.
The Pokémon Company also announced a new Detective Pikachu for Switch and the Pokémon Home cloud service for Switch and smartphones. Later this year, Pokémon Sword and Shield appear for the Switch.
We’re pleased to announce the development of Pokémon Sleep, a new app from @Pokemon_cojp that tracks a user’s time sleeping and brings a gameplay experience unlike any other! Several Snorlax were consulted on this, in case you were wondering. #PokemonSleep is coming in 2020.
