Typically when people think of water parks, they picture cheap thrills, long queues, mediocre cuisine, and children shouting. Mexican tourism developer, Grupo Vidanta, has reinvented this concept with the recent introduction of the new boutique water park, Jungala Aqua Experience.
Based at the Vidanta Riviera Maya resort in Mexico, the water park provides spa treatments, luxury cabanas, and modern rides. With caves, waterfalls, and an abundance of trees setting the scene, Jungala is made to give guest a unique enthralling experience.
What else do they have to offer?
A few of the most attractive features include the Aqua Play Rain Fortress, the biggest interactive play structure on the planet. It’s also a rarity because it has one of a select few wave pools in the world with natural beach sand. The park also has a lazy river extending roughly a kilometer in length, and A-grade dining options like the On the Waves Snack Hall, the Mojito Bendito Bar, the Sand-gria Bar, and the Cocoyol Pool Bar. The park also has various shops on-site with a variety of clothes and souvenirs.
By booking a deluxe VIP cabana, you will get a personalized service that offers Champagne, a fruit and dessert platter, and several floors and rooms with special amenities.
“It has always been our goal to offer the most extraordinary vacation experiences for guests, and the opening of the Jungala at Vidanta Riviera Maya will further enhance that by providing another entertainment outlet with deluxe touches,” says Iván Chávez, Grupo Vidanta’s Executive Vice President. “In order to preserve the high quality of the experience, Jungala will have a set daily capacity of guests to minimize lines and maximize fun. The boutique park will offer bespoke services throughout.”
